League Code of Conduct

Fort Lee Adult CO-ED Softball League / Fort Lee Falcons Code of Conduct

1. Respect & Sportsmanship – Treat all players, officials, and spectators with respect. No harassment, bullying, discrimination, or threats.
2. Game-Day Conduct – Follow game rules, umpire decisions, and league officials’ directions.
3. Communication Etiquette – League communication channels (including WhatsApp) are for official announcements, schedule changes, and league-related discussions only.
4. Zero Tolerance – Repeated disrespect or misconduct may result in removal without refund.
5. Authority to Remove – The Commissioner reserves the right to suspend or remove any participant who violates these policies.

Removal Policy
The league reserves the right to refuse service, suspend, or remove any participant who violates the Code of Conduct. Refunds, if any, are granted solely at the discretion of league management. Members who have not received a jersey may be eligible for a prorated refund. Members who have received a jersey may keep it, as the membership fee includes its cost; in such cases, no refund will be issued.

WhatsApp Chat Rules
Purpose: Announcements about games, practices, events, weather updates, league products & services; Sports-related discussion relevant to our league, college sports, or professional sports.
Rules:
1. No excessive posting or unrelated chatter.
2. No promotions of other leagues, political content, or off-topic sales pitches.
3. No bullying, harassment, or disrespect toward members or staff.
4. If you have an issue, message the commissioner directly.
5. Commissioner reserves the right to approve, edit, or remove any post to maintain a respectful environment.

Acknowledgment
By registering, participants acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to follow the League Code of Conduct & Removal Policy. Violations may result in removal without refund at the discretion of the Commissioner or league management.
